A Rally for Poverty (.7)
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Just recently I participated in a HUGE and amazing rally on poverty and a children's choir from Kenya came up to perform. Everyone from Kenya is part of the Mully Children's Family, the story behind the organization and it's creator Charles Mully is incredilbe! Check it out! The kids were all about high school age and could speak Swahili and English fluently. The three humanitarian groups at the high schools in my city all participated in this and we got to take the kids bowling! lol It was pretty funny since they had never been bowling before and instead of rolling the balls they threw them. :) Almost of the children at MCF, except for Charles Mully's biological children, have lived on the streets in Kenya, been orphaned or subject to some kind of abuse. But when we met them, they were completely normal and definetely had lots of fun with us, dancing and doing gymnastics in the bowling alley. It was definetely one of the coolest days of my life.
